Alan Ellis, the experienced sales professional with more than 10 years working in the health and fitness industry, has left his role as strategic account manager at Matrix Fitness UK to launch a new consultancy, Thirty Six.
As a multi-disciplinary business focused in the health and fitness industries, Thirty Six aims to support its clients achieve their commercial goals and grow their business by utilising Thirty Six’s network of highly experienced and qualified specialists in sales, marketing, branding, business development & consultancy, procurement & tendering, supply chain and logistics.
Alan’s extensive back ground in health, fitness and wellbeing includes seven years at premium fitness equipment manufacturers Cybex International UK, during which time he was promoted to national key accounts manager. Alan went on to become managing director at SportsArt Fitness UK, before most recently joining the UK’s fastest growing fitness brand Matrix Fitness as strategic accounts manager in 2014. Alan’s 10 years of experience provide a significance amount of understanding regarding equipment selection and purchasing, service contracts, the business planning and design of gyms with significance experience in working with clients that range from multi-national gym chains to bespoke operators.
Commenting on the launch of the new venture, Alan said: “We’ve created Thirty Six to offer something genuinely new to the industry; in the years that I’ve spent working in commercial fitness, I’ve encountered many organisations that face continued challenges around commercialising their offering, increasing revenue streams, ensuring best value across all their purchases and maximising the use of their facilities
